Just a quick update to mention that CLAMP-NET has confirmed the move of xxxHolic from Young Magazine to Bessatsu Shonen Magazine June 9th.

The latest issue of Young Magazine announced that the serialization of XXXHOLiC will be moved to Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is a monthly publication that started in September, 2009. The first chapter of XXXHOLiC in its new home will be published in the July issue, which is out on June 9. The chapter will have color pages (beginning of tankoubon 18) and XXXHOLiC will feature the magazine's front cover (first time that ever happens with XXXHOLiC since the covers of Young Magazine always feature a female model xD).

This means, of course, that XXXHOLiC chapters will be now published monthly.

I remember reading that the only reason CLAMP went for weekly publication with Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC was due to the links between the two series, so now that Tsubasa is over and XXXHOLiC is walking on its own, I can understand why they decided to go monthly (but I must admit I didn't expect that!). It could also be an attempt to help boost the sales of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. Looking at the other series that are serialized in the magazine, XXXHOLiC is by far the most popular one.

Now CLAMP is back to the monthly publications. Personally I like that, I've missed it =) I think monthly publications are juicer.

And one small news, CLAMP-NET.COM updated with news that Mokona's recommendations will be published in the 4 novels Rean no Tsubasa (The Wings of Rean). The original conpcet of Rean no Tsubasa was made by the creator of Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino. The books will be out on March 24.

I think if Rukia spent more time with Ichigo, she'd smile a whole lot more. That'd be nice, wouldn't it? Besides, it's fun to get into her head.

Anyway, I was reading the fight between Rukia and the noveno espada (the guy who looks a whole lot like Kaien) and I came across the two sketches that Kubo-sensei drew after the chapter where Rukia gets impaled and the one with her flashback. The first shows a bird in flight, with the caption "...what is your regret?" (is it just me, or does the bird remind you of the 13th division's symbol?)

At the time, I couldn't really decide who the question was directed at. It seemed more for Rukia, but the panel before the end of the chapter with Kaien really threw me off. I initially wanted to write this in Kaien's perspective, but I didn't think I'd be able to portray everything as well. And I just fell in love with the next one. "There is no heart without you"


(  It's on days like this that Rukia feels she's made the best decision of her life thus far.  )

Does anyone know how many of the Horitsuba Gakuen comics are out there? I know of # 1-3, but is there a #4, and are they continuing to be released?

Also, does anyone know if there is an Xxxholic Artbook in the works?

You'll find everything you need, just in slightly shifted format. Just so you know, we based these changes on input from both experienced and new users who were not familiar with LiveJournal. Here's a quick breakdown of what you'll find where:

• Scrapbook can now be found under Profile (thanks for your feedback, btw), along with Settings, Stats, and Edit Profile.
• You'll find all the tools you need to post and update entries under Journal, which includes posting and editing entries, managing comments and tags, and customizing your journal's style.
• Friends contains all of your friend settings, from filtering your Friends page to adding, removing, and finding new and existing friends on LiveJournal.
• Under Communities, you'll find links to manage your communities, accept community invites, and create new communities.
• Explore includes search features, RSS feeds, Question of the Day, and FRNK radio.
• Under Shop, you'll find links to upgrade or give a paid account, buy virtual gifts, purchase LiveJournal merchandise (like T-shirts), and view your payment history.

LiveJournal Mobile update:

We've enhanced LiveJournal's mobile site to improve usability and load times. We've made more of LiveJournal's features accessible via mobile, including posting comments, uploading photos, reading and commenting on friends' posts, finding and messaging friends, and more. We look forward to reviewing your feedback and recommendations for future improvements.

Other important changes:

• You can lock comments to prevent further commenting on a post, while leaving existing comments visible.
• We replaced the "Tell a friend" link with a new "Share This" widget that lets you share LiveJournal posts on other social media sites, including Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
• We changed some of the icons on entries (you can hover over the icons to view descriptions).
• You'll see a Tag count on your Tag management page.
• You'll now see the 10 most recent vgifts on your profile page. To remove vgifts, left-click on the vgift and choose whether you want to remove the vgift from your profile or delete it entirely.
• We've added options to help you control receipt of vgifts, which you'll find in My Stuff under Edit Profile. You can now enable vgifts from friends or everyone and disable anonymous vgifts.

We've got your fix:

• UPDATE: Rolling several updates into one listing here -- 1) Scrapbook should be back and working again. 2) The problem with the Update Journal page in IE6 and IE7 should be fixed now. 3) The problem with the userpic add-on package pricing has been fixed and refunds issued to anyone who was overcharged while the erroneous prices were in place.
• Non-conforming images will now be automatically resized for custom mood themes.
• Line breaks no longer count as two characters against your entry's character limit.
• We fixed a bug on the Manage Tags page so you can clear all tags and add new tags.
• We corrected the UI for the update.bml page so it displays properly in IE8.

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Collected Memories Box Set for DVD or Blu-ray will be available on May 4th from FUNimation. This will contain both tv seasons plus the Tsubasa and xxxHolic movies.
The separate 2nd season and 2-movie box set will also be available on Blu-ray on the same day. The 1st season is already out.
